Freeboard

A Freeboard spa is the most common type of spa we fit to superyachts. It is an enclosed spa system where the water level remains below the top edge of the spa.
The water level increases or decreases depending on bather load & is topped up via our level control system. There is no balance tank.
A Freeboard spa on a yacht is designed to be used for short periods of time and then drained after use so there is no filtration system installed.
